13:09 – Yannick Bolasie a target for Middlesbrough

Football insider for Bleacher Report, Dean Jones, has suggested that Middlesbrough could be looking to sign Everton winger Yannick Bolasie before the day is out.

This would be a great move for both clubs, but particularly for Everton, who would be thankful to get Bolasie’s substantial wage bill off their books.

Deputy sports editor at the Guardian, Ed Aarons, has claimed that Michy Batshuayi will be on his way to West Ham or Real Betis before the deadline, rather than Everton.

It’s thought that the decision has been made due to Chelsea’s preference to loan the player out rather than see him leave on a permanent deal.

Everton’s pursuit of Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi may have taken a blow, as they do not want to strike a deal for a permanent transfer, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Toffees are unable to bring in the striker on loan as they already have defender Kurt Zouma on loan from Chelsea.

The London club are in no rush to sell and are demanding a £35million fee for the Belgian.
