Furnivals Well and its upstairs restaurant Bitter Social are to host the quirky Champagne and oyster event in one of the UK’s oldest public police stations.
The bar, situated in Ropewalks, was once home to Charles Dickens, with the event a nod to its Victorian past.
With three menus to choose from, this Valentine’s Day will be like no other. Menus will be priced between £20 and £35. They include fresh rock oysters, herring roe caviar, and Perrier Jouet Champagne.
The event will be held from the February 14th, 15th and 16th on Campbell Square, so there will be plenty of time to make Valentine’s Day a Victorian experience to remember.
