Liverpool residents are being asked to nominate their hidden gem for this year’s Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards.
The newly added ‘hidden gem’ category will allow residents to nominate what they believe is the region’s ‘best kept secret.’
Gems can include restaurants, tours or natural areas.
Sponsoring the new category, the Director at Marketing Liverpool, Chris Brown, said: “We are delighted to again be a part of these prestigious awards.
“I hope this category will give people a chance to champion their own favourite tourism asset and put the spotlight on something a little more unusual across our city region.”
Residents have until March 21 to nominate their chosen gem.
There are 17 award categories in total, which recognise the cities tourism and hospitality industry.
Categories include the Hotel of the Year, and Entertainment Venue of the year.
The ceremony will take place on May 16 at Liverpool Cathedral.
